About The Doodle Bea Greeting Card Team

I would like to tell you a little bit about us. You see, this was not a part of our plans for the future. Greeting cards simply became as the result of years of drawing.

Beatrice has been drawing most of her life. I remember back in our school days, she would make ceramic pins and create hand drawn pictures on them. It started as something fun to do, and as time went by, she got better and better.

There was a time when we needed to raise money for a trip and that was one of her fund-raisers. I still have some of those pins to this day. I know, you probably don’t want to hear the whole story, so we’ll skip ahead a few years.

Julie (that’s me) started in the working world right after high school. Not as much fun, but getting familiar with the “professional world”. Customer service became a big part of my business career.

Now, what happens when you put a creative mind and business mind together? For us, the result is:

I mean, after all these years of friendship, why not put together what we both do best! Personally, I never would have imagined this, but I have to admit – making this idea become a reality has been a blast. And her husband has been especially supportive.

One thing Beatrice and I used to talk about in our younger days was someday buying a large piece of land and raising dogs - lots of dogs – lost, forgotten, unloved. That is, at this moment in time, a dream. But think of it, Doodle Bea Greeting Cards wasn’t even a dream until recently – and dreams DO come true!!!

So some day, we may be raising our dogs while providing you with a still unique kind of greeting card. And our dogs may even get into the picture. We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know WHO holds the future.

Paul wrote: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He has given us the strength to make THIS dream a reality. And for that, we are both very thankful.
